Three Professors Join American Academy of Arts and Sciences

Three faculty members from UCSB have been elected fellows of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. They include Glenn H. Fredrickson, professor of chemical engineering and of materials; L. Gary Leal, professor of chemical engineering; and Ann Taves, professor of Catholic studies.

Their selection bring to 28 the number of UCSB faculty members who have been elected fellows of the prestigious academy.
